RIP BROTHER BILLY POWELL
WE ALL LOST A GREAT FRIEND WITH THE SUDDEN PASSING OF BILLY POWELL LAST WEEK. I WANT TO SEND MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO THE POWELL FAMILY. I ALSO WANT TO SAY WHAT AN HONOR IT WAS TO HAVE MET AND WORKED WITH BILLY OVER THE YEARS. HE WILL BE MISSED AND I CAN ONLY HOPE THAT HE, RONNIE, ALLEN, STEVE, HUGHIE AND LEON ARE HAVING ONE HECK OF A REUNION IN HEAVEN.

I heard about Billy passing on through a phone call from a friend and brother, you know who you are and just wanted to say thank you for calling that night.
I didn't know Billy personally but thought I'd throw out there how the keys ring out in my memories while listening to Skynyrds version of "Call Me the Breeze".
As Charlie Daniels sang about Ronnie to "Keep on singing loud" I'll say Keep on ringing loud.
To all who might read this I say thanks to TH for having this comments page and my deepest thoughts and prayers always for Billy and family and friends.
